About me

Hi, I’m Andreas.

People usually get in touch when the outside of their business has stopped matching the inside. The work is good and the website is three years behind it. Booking held together with hope. Enquiries that quietly get lost in an inbox. Or everyone keeps telling them they should be using AI and nobody has explained what for. That is the bit I do.

My values were built at Apple.

I started out at Apple, and it is where everything I believe about looking after people comes from. It is also where I learned the customer experience properly: that it starts long before anyone buys anything and carries on long after, and that every step along the way either earns a bit of trust or quietly costs you some. It is still what I am thinking about when I build a site. Not only how it looks on a screen, but what it is like to be the person moving through it.

Everything since, including my time at Tesla, has added to that rather than replaced it. Years spent looking after partnerships measured in years rather than in orders. Then running the technical side of a business, the website, the CRM and everything holding it together, which turned the thing I had always been drawn to into the work itself.

This is the one I have always wanted to do.

Chrysós Systems is the thing I have always wanted to build, and it is the first thing I have done that brings everything together: the values I built at Apple, the belief that the work should matter, the long view on relationships, and the technical side I have spent years taking apart for the pleasure of it.

How I work

Relationships, not transactions. Plenty of people come to me with one specific thing that needs doing, and I enjoy that work as much as any of it. What I enjoy most is getting to know a business well enough to spot the thing nobody has asked for yet, because that is usually where the real value turns up.

Care about the details. The ones nobody consciously notices are usually the ones deciding how something feels to use, so they get my attention whether or not anybody is looking. And if something is not right, I would far rather you told me and I fixed it than left it sitting there.

Keep making it better. I am proud of everything I launch, and just as interested in what it looks like a year later. Things keep getting better when somebody is still paying attention to them, so I stay paying attention.

Why work with me?

I am not a team of ten with an account manager in between. You get me: the person who builds it, and the person who picks up the phone. Smaller means faster, and nothing gets lost in translation.

When I’m not doing this

Outside work I am usually with my wife and our dog. I play padel, shoot clay, spend time in the gym, and keep up to date with anything and everything tech. I am also a proper theme park nerd. Disney World, Universal, and their parks around the world. If I am not planning our next trip I am probably watching vlogs from one. Planning a trip yourself? Ask me.
